Think you mean tyres and rims mate
Tyre sizes read as follows
tyre width (mm)/aspect ratio [tyre height] (% of width) RXX (rim diameter in inches)
Rim sizes read as follows
rim width (inches) x rim diameter (inches) ETXX (offset [distance from rim centre line and mounting face] in mm) PCD [pitch circle diameter]: number of studs/diameter of stud centre points in mm centre bore [hole in the middle of the wheel for hub centre] (mm)

Only thing with 17/16's you loose more acceleration as there bigger. Im running 15's on TOYO 195/50's and lowered it fills the arches and looks more sporty/aggresive (but mines the hatchback). Have no idea what to run on 17's

I mean will the tire hit the body of baleno? 15 and above do we need low profile tire? And what about the acceleration? If it is good, I am planning to fit a 15 inch alloys

Basically if you increase the rolling diameter on a vehicle it takes longer for that diameter to complete a full 360 so the bigger you make your wheels/tyres the slower your acceleration becomes. Considering the best part about the Baleno is the torque id stay with 15's IMO

@STAR2K8 ,Thanks for the information buddy if you dont mind can you post some pictures of your alloys? I wish to change my alloys to 15 inches....but dont want any modification with the stock baleno's arches. so which size of the tire suits to my Baleno? I mean for 15 inches alloys(low profile tire or High profile tire) then it should not fiddle with the stock arches. please advice

If there off a old school Swift they will not fit as there 4x114.3 and the Baleno is 4x100.

I think the PCD is correct (4x100.I dropped the idea for this....Because I dont like this alloys design. I like 7 spokes or 10 spokes....searching for that. By the way, what is an ET of the rim? and the Dia? 205,55 R15 suitabe for Baleno? Please shed some light on this

By the way, what is an ET of the rim? and the Dia? 205,55 R15 suitabe for Baleno? Please shed some light on this ET is the "off-set" of the wheels (how far the wheels stick out from the car) the smaller the number the more far out they will stick. Dia will just be short for Diameter. So to your last question without Checking the offset (ET) you wont really know weather they will fit or not as this is going to be a rather large tyre on a 15" wheel, if your not lowered at all you may be alright but you have to think about the ling run if your going to lower it you will have to get lower profile tyres to allow that drop. Basically a lil tip. . . just try to get a wheel with a similar Offset to the Baleno (35-45) then you have best chance of getting a good fitment and save you the hassle in the long run.
