The GSR is a 1.8 where as the GS is a 1.6. GSR has a lot more bhp but as far as im aware there isnt that much difference torque-wise. There are a lot more differences but they are just the obvious ones

Rear anti roll bar being another difference. It's a different series engine. The gs uses a g16 which is a single cam 16valve engine, belt driven producing 94 bhp. The gsr uses a j18 engine which is a chain driven 1.8 twin cam engine producing 119-121 bhp. There is a slight difference in tourers but I forget it. There's a few more differences, the gsr comes with speedline alloys, disk breaks on the rear White dials, different grill, bigger seats bigger front breaks and a stronger gearbox! I'm sure there's more but that's just off the top of my head

My Baleno has rear disk brakes. Does this mean I have a GSR? I got this Baleno and have no idea what size the engine is or what model it is. Never even seen another two door Baleno in my country.

Just makes you think you get an awful-lot of car for your money with a GSR  Grin
Any euro with all this spec would be silly money. . . and no better
