Hi
Would just like to introduce myself.
I pick up my Baleno GSR tomorow I am very excited.
2001 Plate silver 90k 12 months MOT 6 months Tax £730!!
First mods will be induction kit and hopefully steering wheel if I can as the car has an airbag in it.
Also out of interestdoes the GSR come with Remote central locking? As I thought it was standard but the car does'nt seem to have it??
Any way I look forward to speaking to you all.

Hi guys really sorry for the late reply. I had a lot of problems with my insurance payout and have still not had the money. Thankfully the garage let me put some more cash down to secure the car indefinitely so hopefully I will have the car in the next few weeks. Does anybody know if you can get light eyebrows for the baleno?

As far as I know they don't exist, but you can make some. It's on the project gsr section of the website

Thanks Loz And Star. I have managed to secure the Baleno and my insurance payout came however they have wrote the cheque out to the wrong person....... Should all be sorted in the next few days. I have one picture on my Phone which I will try and upload this week. Does anybody know the 0-60 time of a standard GSR? I have read anything from 7.5 to 11 seconds. I figured it was similar to a Saxo VTS

I had a saxo vts and i think off the top of my head that the 0-60 of that was about 7.2 - 7.6 seconds. as for the GSR i think its bloody close to be honest, i would be inclined to say that it would be mid - late 7's or early 8's. theres no way that itl be as slow as 11 though unless there was something very wrong

Keirans gs was probably about 11 seconds. Iv dragged against a vts and there was no difference. Although when I'm in a vts it feels quicker, that's probably just down to feeling every stone and crack in the road. I think standard it's about 7.8

I hate Saxo's with the passion, dime a dozen in my area and in most ares for that matter lol But have to say that the VTS engine is one of the best 1.6 engines ever, mate had one and they are impressive just to common. Id say it would be close with a GSR. . . and all the mods will sure help it out

Think I'd probably say the b16 Honda engine is far superior to the vts engine. 165bhp out of a 1.6. Saxos are light is all. Vts engines like to go through coils and gearbox's like there's no tomorrow

well i drove my VTS like i stole it most of the time untill i snapped the timing belt engine mount bolt, that was the only problem i had with mine tbh and i had a race with an EK9 civic and only kept up till about 100mph then the gap grew, only reason i think he kept up was because of how long they rev out. i kept having to change gear lol
