right, how she sits at the moment performancewise:

toyo t1r tyres
drilled + grooved break disks with mintex pads
lowered 40mm on pi springs
pipercross induction kit with cold air feed
second cat removed
standard back box removed and replaced with free flow one
egr valve blocked off
additional engine earths added
k+n oil filter

what i currently own with the intention of fitting:
subaru impreza cusco coilovers
t25 turbo (of a 200sx) with front mount intercooler, intercooler piping off my mates supra (suprisingly close fit, only a few adjustments needed)
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
rear universal strut brace (heavy modification needed)
and a few gauges inc oil pressure and temp
oilfilter sandwich plate.

few other bits needed. will be getting a manifold for the turbo in the new year with custom downpipe. also need oil feed lines, but i know a guy who makes them to order. will hopefully be getting a greddy emanage piggy back or similar and some injectors (around 550cc).
few other bits will be bought as it comes together

right now im going to concentrate on the seriously flawed standard suspension, i think the coilovers should transform the car, especially as my rear springs n shocks are scary at the moment. also want to make sure the brakes are up to standard too.

im only looking to run the turbo at around 6 psi unless i get a spare engine i can rebuild.

will be happy if i can get the car running safely and reliably at between 150-200bhp which i think is realistic enough, as the jdm j18 runs 135 bhp standard, and the only difference is the cats

its going to be a long term thing as the manifold and e mange are far from cheap!

If you want to transform the suspension, get a thicker rear swaybar.

the earths are nothing special, just black wires placed one on to the chasis to the battery and another on the rocker cover to the battery. and again for the egr iv positioned a thin metal plate between the intake manifold and the valve. unfortunately this puts the engine light on sometimes.

the sway bars are hard to come by, and never cheap. going to see how the rear brace and coilovers change it. then look into poly bushes and sway bars if im not happy with it.

i drive my car pretty hard, currently harder than the car can handle. the tyres have made the most difference to the handling,

Hey mate, what wheels are those? Are they the Speedline ones? What's the size on those? I've seen some for sale for cheap, but I want to know what the size is first!

What's the width?Huh Haha, sorry, I saw an ad for these, $350, but he didn't put the width! I just want them to be wider than my current stock wheels (14x5.5), so as long as they're 6inch I'll be happy!

Well my tyres are 195 wide so I think that's around 7.5 in inches. I'd double check that though

Slight update, exhaust is now straight through from the bottom of the down pipe and the majority of it is stainless steel except the pipe out of the back which is mild steel ( like the powerflow exhausts are all mild steel) also now have the rear strut brace on. In two minds about going turbo now, mainly as fuel costs are stupid and I can't afford a second car. If I don't boost it then I will be Aiming to have it running around 140 bhp ATF. Hopefully I may know a guy who does fancy things with Rose joints and stuff and he thinks he knows a guy who can make me a rear sway bar. Still no luck on the front strut brace so far

fair enough, must have changed recently then, always used to advertise them as stainless, but they always used to rot, and on closer inspection they were mild. mate had one made for his ep3 civic type r last year and thats started rusting. about time they actually went stainless!

Thats a shame, the place near mine has always been stainless they have the Stainless sports (smaller) back boxes and Tips supplied by Powerflow as there stamped with the logos and they have the Stainless piping by the bucket loads and just cut, bend & weld to your taste.
