my locks go down when i open the door with the handle and when the door closes they shoot back up again, this morning i got out the car to go to the cash point engine running and everything when i got back the car had locked its self, keys in ignition, engine still running!!! was gutted!!!

the problem is probably the central locking sender unit, its behind the drivers door card

Can sympathise with you both...mine has started doing that after some little sh#ts broke into my car by prising the top of the door open, buggering the shape of the top of the door window. I managed to semi fix it by taking the door card off and re-alining the latch with the metal guider thing that shoots the lock up and down. Not perfect but I just got to remember not to leave the keys in or to keep the window down! Damn thieves!
