engine pulling back on accelaration

hi all,90% of the time my 1.3 hatch drives perfect,but recently,when you start off in first gear she is pulling back and will only move forward slowly,unless you rev hard and end up doing a wheel skid,have you any ideas thanks ben

howd you meen by pulling back? i wonder if theres a problem with an engine mount, when you accelerate and then let off the throttle does the engine feel like its rocking?
