Hi,
Is it normal for heater to stay on if ignition is off?  I doubt it is, what would fix the problem.  If I have the heater on it continues to stay on when ignition is off and keys removed, can be quite annoying if I've had it on setting 1, where it isn't obvious that it's on.

mmmm i this shouldnt happen, i wonder if you maybe have a sticking relay or a short circuit somewhere. try locating the heater relay and removing and replacing it, could be something as simple as that

Yes certainly the relay. Mine did this after i'd steam cleaned the interior and got a bit carried away with the steaming. Ebay has the relays for about £3 delivered and not too hard to fit.
